Grand Lit - 140cm - Garden view - Nunnery

This is one of the buildings preserved from the medieval nunnery, and is one of Sweden's oldest buildings. Grand Lit room is a little bit smaller room than our normal double rooms, and has a grand lit bed that is 140 cm wide.

The castle wing is housed in a 19th-century building in the former Castle Park, also known as Slottsgården. The area allowed Gustav Vasa to park as a park and garden outside the moat of Vadstena Castle. Slottsflygeln is in the middle of Vadstena, close to shopping on the picturesque main street, bathing in Vättern and Vadstena Castle. NOTE! This building is about 7 minutes walk from the reception. Check-in takes place at Munkklostret.
